Krystall Full purification plant is a well-tested water plant for color removal, specifically developed for natural Norwegian water.
This plant is suitable for both small and medium-sized water treatment plants with capacity requirements of between 60 and 2500m3/day.

- Precipitation is a process where a precipitant is added to the raw water, which binds the humus particles together so that they can be retained in a filter. We use an approved precipitant which is dosed into an open filter column filled with powdered marble. The precipitant is automatically dosed into the water flow before the filter, and metals, humus, bacteria and viruses are then held back in the filter mass.
After treatment, the water is free of color, harmful metals and bacteria, and since alkaline filter mass is used, the correct ph and alkalinity are achieved as well. All in one and the same process, with only one dosage, and a small number of parameters for monitoring.
New flushing device for cleaning of the filter grate
Unik Filtersystem AS has developed a new flushing device for cleaning filter grates in our Krystall Full-cleaning plants.
The process consists of a filter grate that is power washed from the underside, followed by the filter mass being backwashed with large quantities of washing water (raw natural water).
The high-pressure nozzle follows, with the help of a control device shaped like a spiral, so that it covers the entire grate, thus the entire bottom of the filter tank. The automation controls how frequently each flush and spray nozzle should move along the spiral.
The nozzle is a turbo type and works with a water pressure of up to 260 bar.
