Unique filter system has signed an agreement for the delivery of process equipment to Akvaplan-niva AS’s research station on Kvaløya outside Tromsø.
The contract price includes design, delivery, assembly, adjustment and trial runs of the parts delivered.
Akvaplan-niva AS refers to this as a “brand new research station specifically adapted for piloting and pre-industrializing the farming of new marine life. Additionally, the facility will provide new research opportunities in the field of environment and knowledge of our ecosystems”.
Unik Filtersystem AS is the lead contractor for this exciting project. In addition to their own supply of Amiad intake water filtration, UV systems and self-produced drain protection; they also have several skilled subcontractors both locally in Tromsø, as well as Western Norway. Alde Akva AS will supply planning and modeling of equipment in BIM, PTG Kuldeteknisk AS responsible for the supply of heat pumps, control and automation, Eltro AS supplies electrical work, and Preplast AS will be responsible for pipes and assembly. This will be an innovative and exciting project we can’t wait to start.
Technical process delivery will take place in the first half of 2023.
